At Shirley View we take care of everything for you. Food, laundry, hairdressers, opticians, podiatrists, GP visits and more are all provided. You, of course, are welcome to decline these services if you wish.

Our catering service covers all meals and snacks, and ensures that a healthy and balanced diet is provided with choice and variation. Our in-house chefs have received rave reviews for residents and families alike for the food put on at our much adored summer and Christmas parties!

For any resident we have, we create a care plan specifically designed for the individual. Within this plan, we learn about the resident's past, preferences and needs. We try to understand where they are coming from so that we can cultivate a lifestyle most in keeping with this. Our care plans are reviewed monthly by our nurses, and annually by residents' families, although we do encourage as frequent input from families as possible.

On Sundays a priest from the local church comes to visit certain residents at the home. We respect people's spiritual needs very much, and will be keen to facilitate this sense of fulfilment where at all possible. If you have any requests regarding religion, please just ask.
